#BlogHop4Writers: Research, the Strangest Time Bandit…

Welcome the Thursday, Sept 22nd new look #BlogHop4Writers post!

QUESTION:What is the strangest thing you’ve done in the name of research? Question provided by author: Victoria Blisse

Well, the short answer is that I once got very obsessed with collecting ‘interesting and relevant’ newspaper articles and built up a whole filing cabinet of newspaper cuttings , which I never looked at again. Ever!

I had them all filed in alphabetical and then subject order – each group with a series of hanging files to hold them all just ‘so’.

It was like a giant waste paper basket.

Until I realised what I was doing and threw it all in the bin.

What about you? What do you think about today’s #BlogHop4Writers question?

Go here and DO THE HOP for this week.

Hugs

Yep, that's me!

  1. What you just described is also known as…. my PhD dissertation. Also now in the bin after years of saving boxes upon boxes of materials. I decided to write things that people would actually enjoy reading instead!

  2. LOL. That is strange. However, I think I may be guilty of doing the same thing with websites and blogs. I seem to favorite them, organize them in their resspective folder and then…never look at them again. But don’t ask me to delete them. I throw a fit! I think I enjoy knowing I have them there…regardless of whether I use them.

Oh, and thank you for leaving me a comment on Paranormal Passions blog. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next Thursday. 🙂

Please leave a reply. Many thanks! :D
