Hello there!
In case you hadn’t noticed, in my sidebar I’ve added word count progress meters. I love these as they help me keep on track of my daily writing goals. Yes, I’m obsessed with these little blighters, which work as a great motivation tool.
When I say I’m writing again, yep, I am really going for it!
This is where I go to get the progress meters pictured above and in my sidebar :
My #1. http://www.sarracannon.com/wordmeter
Other word meters I’ve used in the past, and like, are listed below:
#2. A good no-nonsense word meter, plus a cute caveman one as pictured above : http://www.writertopia.com/toolbox/meters
#3. A neat looking word meter : http://www.critiquecircle.com/wordmeterbuilder.asp
#4. A good one for NaNoWriMo : http://www.languageisavirus.com/nanowrimo/word-meter.php#.WLqq2_mLS00
#5. Clean design: http://svenjaliv.com/wordmeter/
#6. A simple HTML progress bar which does not rely on outside images. : http://honorless.net/progressbar.htm
#7. For WordPress.Org : https://wordpress.org/plugins/progpress/
Thought it’d would be helpful for my fellow writers. Having said that these aren’t necessarily just for story writers. They can be used for counting non-fiction, blog posts, and freelance writing word count tasks, too.
Now you have some more writing tools, all you’ve got to do is write. Join me!
What are you writing?
Hugs,
